Application success for coi roster

North West/Lancashire-based social marketing agency, The Hub has won a coveted place on the Central Office of Information’s (COI) Marketing, Brand and Strategy National Framework.

Following a rigorous selection procedure that began with 600 agencies, The Hub has been selected to win a place on the framework (roster). Taking its place amongst an elite group of the UK’s most prestigious agencies, The Hub will compete for government contracts in the social marketing field.

Helen Johnson, Managing Director at The Hub said: "We’re delighted to have been selected for this national framework. As one of only a handful of North West agencies, this news is testament to our unwavering commitment to strategic rigour, creative excellence and the power of social marketing to drive social change.”

Two new frameworks, worth approximately £5m per year will replace the Marketing and Brand Strategy Consultancy Framework, which was last reviewed in 2005.

COI thoroughly evaluated 600 applications and reviewed around 3000 CVs and 5000 case studies during the review. The successful agencies were selected on the basis of their proven expertise and experience in specialist areas. The Hub’s depth of expertise and experience in the social marketing field formed the basis of their successful application.

Helen Johnson continued, “This news is a massive boost to a team that has worked tirelessly to consolidate The Hub’s position at the forefront of the social marketing sector in the UK. We achieved this through a series of groundbreaking projects, international conference appearances and speaking engagements across the country.

“We will now be focussing on taking full advantage of this position to apply our particular brand of social marketing to improve lives, increase engagement and reduce health inequalities right across the UK."
