THE HUB relocates TO MANCHESTER from 17th may 2010

Following 2 years of rapid growth and with a host of new developments in the pipeline, The Hub’s entire operation is moving from its Preston home. With a client base and team that is growing in both number and diversity, the relocation is considered to be the foundation for the agency’s manifesto of plans to retain its prominent position in a political landscape that will continue to shift.

Helen Johnson, Managing Director said “The last 2 years have seen The Hub establish itself as one the most effective social change consultancies in the UK, tripling our team and turnover in the process. In order to maintain this trajectory through the overhaul of public sector services, we are seeing through a range of radical service developments. Our move to Manchester is an exciting and crucial element in realising these plans.”

After making its name as one of the UK’s leading social marketing agencies, The Hub has gone on to develop a full service behaviour change offering and a specialism working with deprived and disadvantaged communities. After adding social research, citizen and community engagement, co-creation and service design to its wealth of marketing and communications expertise, The Hub will be launching an in-house Insight division in the summer.

“A human-centred approach is a pre-requisite to sustainable behaviour change”, continued Helen. “As such, social research lies at the heart of all our future plans. Working on innumerable social change projects over the last 2 years, we have developed a range of innovative research and co-creation methodologies that allow the public to develop solutions to their own problems. In deepening our commitment to this approach, we are launching our own Insight division built around these methodologies.”
